Description The Artco Specialist is our interpretation of the ultimate sporting clays shotgun for the expert shooter. It is designed to deliver smooth, yet responsive handling. We utilized our industry leading barrel production to create ultra-light 34” barrels. The goal: to reduce barrel weight for ideal balance, while the added length improves swing and precision on long-range targets. To accomplish the dynamic handling characteristics of the Artco Specialist, we started with light barrel tubes and assigned a top rib with a 10 to 6mm taper to remove weight out of the muzzle end. Next, we created a new E22 ultra-light choke, crafted from German grade 5 Titanium. Additionally, we removed the mid rib under the fore-end to squeeze every last gram of weight out of the barrels. This is a competition shotgun that is not for every shooter like an F1 race car is not for every driver.
