Description Nepenthes aristolochioides x spectabilis (BE-3846) is a stunning hybrid that combines the unique, “hunchbacked” shape of the Sumatran bird-catcher (N. aristolochioides) with the intricate patterns and flared, striped peristome of N. spectabilis. Product Overview Unique Pitcher Shape: The traps often inherit the side-facing mouth and bulbous body of N. aristolochioides, but are significantly larger and more robust. Ornate Patterning: Pitchers typically feature a cream-to-green base heavily mottled with dark red or purple speckles. The peristome (lip) is usually beautifully striped in dark burgundy and gold.
